The SCADAPack™ 470 and 474 Smart RTUs from Schneider Electric are rugged, high-performance remote terminal units designed to support process automation, asset monitoring, data concentration, and event logging across geographically dispersed operations. Ideal for industries such as oil & gas, water/wastewater, and utilities, these RTUs are engineered to perform in harsh and remote field conditions.

Key capabilities include support for industry-standard open telemetry protocols such as DNP3, Modbus™, and IEC 60870-5-104, along with IEC 61131-3 programming for flexible control applications. With the ability to store up to 1,000,000 events, the SCADAPack 470 and 474 ensure critical operational data is captured and retained.

An integrated flow computer makes these units especially well-suited for oil and gas applications, while seamless integration with Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure™ Geo SCADA Expert platform enables a complete, end-to-end SCADA solution—from field sensors to enterprise-level visibility.

Built-in cybersecurity features, including an integrated IP firewall and DNP3 secure authentication, help protect critical infrastructure and support modern OT security requirements.

Supports operating temperatures of -40…70 °C (-Provides 40…158°F), robust vibration ratings, and resists corrosive environments with G3 conformal coating. Designed for hazardous locations with cULus Class I, Division 2 and ATEX/IECEx Zone 2 hazardous locations certifications. High availability (redundant) control available.
